THE COLONY APARTMENTS

CLIENT: Synco Properties

In collaboration with Synco Properties and serving as the project manager for BB+M Architecture, we worked on the development of a luxury apartment complex situated in the affluent South End neighborhood of Charlotte. 

Comprising 340 apartment units, The Colony features over 15,000 square feet of opulent amenities. These include a rooftop lounge, spa, sauna, and clubhouse, complemented by several game rooms and a golf simulator. The exterior design boasts timeless materials such as rich cast stone, brick masonry, and expansive metal windows. Surrounding the building are numerous outdoor courtyards with a saltwater pool, a dog park, and exterior lounges.  This project represents the inaugural phase of a visionary mixed-use community.

The Colony Apartments garnered the 2022 Charlotte Business Journal’s Heavy Hitters Award for Top Apartment Development and the 2023 Costar Impact Award for Multi-Family of the Year.
